Stellenbosch Square | Development

Project size: 11 300m² / 121 632, 188 sq ft

Tenants: from 45 to 75 

Timeline: 18 months

Completed: March 2016

Budget: R60 million

Overview: Upgraded all soft furnishings within passageways, public bathrooms and courtyard. Demolished existing centre building to create large open air piazza. Redesign entry and build added bulk to increase tenancy and redesign parking layout to maximize ratio.

Stellenbosch Square | Rebrand & Refresh

Overview: While the centre was undergoing an extensive face-lift, I was tasked to relook at the brand guide for the centre. This included a new look website, refresh of all marketing material and the launch of the centre on Twitter. 

Budget compile and execute

Conceptualize on brand guide and launch  

Approve all designs, adverts and press releases

Liaise with media on all advert bookings and press releases

Ensure the smooth coordination of the launch of the centre

Create brand and info packs for potential tenants and suppliers

Building Project | Burger King Cape Gate

Project size: 315m² / 3390,63 sq ft

Tenants: 1

Timeline: 6 months

Completed: May 2017

Budget: R5.5 million, including tenant T/I

Overview: The precinct already offered two national drive-thru's however the centre parking area allowed for a slight reconfiguration which enabled a third outlet to be built, solidifying the node as a convenient shopping destination.

Refurbishment | Laguna Mall 

Project size: 17 000m² / 182986 sq ft

Tenants: 70

Timeline: 12 months

Completion: Nov 2018

With the recent acquisition of the centre a focus on the interior and exterior revitalization will take place starting February 2018. This includes new floor tiles, installing modern light fixtures, new ceiling/bulk heads and modern public bathrooms. Included in this project is the line shops interior upgrades which are linked to their lease agreements.

Low income housing project where an additional 20 units is currently being built which will bring the apartment block to a total of 68 units

Nandos Drive-thu | Cape Gate Lifestyle Precinct 

Project size: 358m² 

Tenant: Nandos 

Timeline: 06 months

Completion: June  2018

Nando’s Drive Thru building project commenced on 15 January 2018. Handed over on 19 June 2018, the development will further strengthen the trade within the precinct improving the overall shopping experience for all visitors.
